Clarification: Hugo’s planning effort for Salvation Army

Salvation Army Lt. Mitch Brecto clarified a statement in the story “Kettle campaign” on page A1 in Thursday’s Sun that said bell ringers will not be ringing for kettles at Hugo’s. Brecto said Hugo’s has been planning a different program at the cash registers in its Jamestown store to collect donations for the Salvation Army. “It’s going to be just as good as what we did with the kettle, if not better,” Brecto said.
