Game and Fish Department holds public input meetings

Hunting and fishing enthusiasts around North Dakota are invited to participate in advisory meetings held by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department around the state in November and December.

Hunting and fishing enthusiasts around North Dakota are invited to participate in advisory meetings held by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department around the state in November and December.

The meeting for District 6, including Barnes, Dickey, Foster, Griggs, Logan, LaMoure, McIntosh, Stutsman and Wells counties will be held at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Valley City Eagles Club.

The meeting for District 7, including Burleigh, Emmons, Grant, Kidder, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sheridan and Sioux counties is also at 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 at the Game and Fish Department headquarters in Bismarck.

Joel Christoferson of Litchville represents District 6 and Frank Kartch of Bismarck represents District 7 on the North Dakota Game and Fish Advisory Board.

The department holds public meetings each spring and fall to gather comments on programs from the outdoorsmen in the area.
