SA accepting Angel Tree applications

The Salvation Army in Jamestown will be open on Saturday so more people have a chance to fill out Angel Tree applications, said Lt. Teresa Brecto. The Salvation Army, located at 320 First Ave. N, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is normally closed on Saturdays.

The number of applications for the Angel Tree Program is down this year, Brecto said.

Those interested in being part of the program can come and fill out an application. The process takes about 15 minutes and requires children’s medical information and gift ideas for children.

No applications will be taken after Nov. 24.
