Small plane has landing gear scare in Minot

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A twin-engine airplane made a safe emergency landing at the Minot airport after a scare with its landing gear.

KXMC-TV reports that the pilot kept the Cessna 402 in a holding pattern for about 1 1/2 hours Friday morning trying to get the gear to deploy and to burn off extra fuel.

Emergency crews were waiting as the plane landed without incident.
