First Assembly hosting meal

First Assembly of God Church in Jamestown will host a fellowship meal from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in honor of Sam Liechty.

First Assembly of God Church in Jamestown will host a fellowship meal from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in honor of Sam Liechty.

Liechty had surgery in October of 2009 for a malignant brain tumor. During the past year, he has had radiation followed by regular chemotherapy treatments. This meal is to encourage Liechty on his road to recovery. People are asked to bring a card of encouragement for Liechty and a gift if they wish. The meal is free.

The public is invited to attend. First Assembly is located on top of mill hill next to Collin’s Furniture. For more information, call the church at 252-4092.
