Game and Fish sets women's workshops

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has scheduled one-day winter workshops for woman on Feb. 25, 26 and 27 at Lake Metigoshe State Park near Bottineau. The programs are intended to help women develop outdoor skills by offering a variety of classes highlighting different skills.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has scheduled one-day winter workshops for woman on Feb. 25, 26 and 27 at Lake Metigoshe State Park near Bottineau. The programs are intended to help women develop outdoor skills by offering a variety of classes highlighting different skills.

Classes include dog sledding, snowshoeing, tracking, winter survival, cross country skiing, ice fishing and darkhouse spearfishing.

Costs of the classes are $60 for the dog sledding sessions and $50 for other classes. Women who take two classes over two days pay a combined fee of $90.

Preregistration and payment can be arranged by contacting the North Dakota Game and Fish Department at www.gf.nd.gov or calling 328-5095.
