Tania Poyzer

Tania Poyzer, 37, Fargo, ND died on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Elim Care Center, Fargo.

Tania Joy Enger was born on October 5, 1973 in Jamestown, ND to Allen and Charlotte (Miedema) Enger. She grew up on the family farm near Ypsilanti, ND and graduated from high school in Montpelier, ND in 1992. She attended North Dakota State University where she received her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree in 1999. Tania married Christopher Poyzer on May 31, 1997 in Fargo. They moved to Marshall, MN in 2000 where she worked at Thrifty White Drug as a pharmacist. In 2003, she was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease. In 2004, they moved back to Fargo. She was lovingly cared for by Chris and family and recently by the staff at the Elim Care Center.

As her disease progressed, her empathy for others grew stronger. She had a passion for reading, and a special love for animals, especially their two dogs, Darby and Betsy Lou.

She is survived by her husband, Chris of Fargo; mother, Charlotte Enger (Les Nordgaard) of Jamestown, ND; brother, Todd (Sandy) Enger and nephew, Westin of Northwood, ND; his parents, Al and Bonnie Poyzer of Fargo; and his brother, Bryan (Jessica) Poyzer and nieces and nephew, Katie, Matthew, Libby and Lexi of Elbow Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her father and other close family.

Visitation: Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the West Funeral Home, West Fargo

Funeral: Thursday at 10 AM at First Presbyterian Church, Fargo.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
