Three charged in County Market thefts

Three former County Market employees have been charged with multiple offenses related to the theft of money and merchandise estimated at $25,000 from County Market in Jamestown, according to a press release from the Jamestown Police Department.
The thefts began in 2007 but not all of the three people charged have been involved the entire time, the release said.
Charged in the complaint are: Beverly A. Beyers, 60, 1209 Sixth Ave. S.E. Beyers is charged with four counts of criminal conspiracy to commit theft and two counts of theft of property, all Class C felonies.
Tina R. Reister, 44, 1012 10th St. N.E., is charged with two counts of theft of property, both Class A misdemeanors, five counts of criminal conspiracy to commit theft and six counts of theft of property, all Class C felonies.
Aimee N. Banuelos, 30, 1012 10th St. N.E., has been charged with three counts of criminal conspiracy to commit theft, all Class C felonies.
All three have been summoned to appear in court.
Dan Bergan, County Market manager, declined to comment Friday.
A Class C felony is punishable by a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. A Class A misdemeanor carries a maximum sentence of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
