Two injured in Richland County rollover

A Moorhead man and his passenger from Fargo were hurt in a rollover accident Saturday on Interstate 29, the Richland County Sheriff's Office reported.

A Moorhead man and his passenger from Fargo were hurt in a rollover accident Saturday on Interstate 29, the Richland County Sheriff's Office reported.

The accident happened at 2:55 p.m. a quarter-mile south of the Hankinson, N.D., exit.

Ryan Gladitsch, 22, of Moorhead, was passing a semi northbound on I-29 when he lost control of the pickup he was driving, the sheriff's office stated in a news release.

The pickup slid into the east ditch, hit a culvert and rolled 3½ times.

Gladitsch and his passenger, 34-year-old Jesse Long of Fargo, were taken to St. Francis Healthcare Campus in Breckenridge, Minn., with unknown injuries. Both were wearing their seat belts.

Gladitsch was cited for care required, and the accident remains under investigation.

Damage to the pickup was estimated at $15,000.
