ACC accepting reservations for gala

The Anne Carlsen Center is now accepting reservations for its eighth annual New Year’s Eve Gala. The event helps raise money for medical equipment that will benefit the center’s students.

The proceeds from this year’s event will go toward purchasing a specialized bath tub.

“A Parker bathtub can give our medically fragile students an opportunity for a bathing experience,” Foundation Associate Director Shelley Nannenga said.

The event will be Dec. 31 at Jamestown’s Quality Inn & Suites. A social hour, complete with hors d’oeuvres, opens the evening at 6 followed by dinner, dancing to live music by the 42nd Street Band, a silent auction and a diamond raffle.

Dinner guests also have the opportunity to purchase diamond raffle tickets at a discounted price of $100 for six tickets when making their reservations. That is the only time they will be offered at a lower price.

Tickets for the event are $75 per person and are available by calling the Anne Carlsen Center’s Jamestown campus at 1-800-568-5175. Ticket reservations can also be made online at www.annecenter.org. Seating is limited for the event and early reservations are encouraged.
