Traffic stop yields 36 pounds of pot

BISMARCK (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a trooper seized 36 pounds of marijuana during a recent traffic stop near Bismarck.

BISMARCK (AP) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a trooper seized 36 pounds of marijuana during a recent traffic stop near Bismarck.

The patrol said the trooper made the stop on Interstate 94 on Sunday night and uncovered the stash after smelling it.

The driver and lone occupant was arrested on a charge of possessing marijuana with the intent to deliver. The patrol said the man is from Lower Lake, Calif.
