The North Dakota Farmers Union’s restaurant Founding Farmers’ will be featured on a Food Network show Monday evening thanks to its recipe for deviled eggs.

“The Best Thing I Ever Ate” will feature Founding Farmers at 9 p.m. Monday during its “Reinvented Classics” episode. Chef Robert Irvine will showcase the restaurant’s Devil-ish Eggs Combo, which he sampled while visiting D.C. last June.

Founding Farmers’ Executive Chef Al Nappo will reveal his tricks of adding fresh lobster, crab, smoked salmon and a few secret ingredients that go into the deviled eggs. The recipe will also be featured in the February edition of NDFU’s publication, the Union Farmer.

“What an incredible honor to have one of our restaurants featured on national television,” said NDFU President Robert Carlson. “Hard work and persistence can truly turn into success and our restaurants demonstrate just that.”
