JHS basketball hockey, basketball games rescheduled

The Jamestown High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams and the Blue Jays boys’ hockey team have found dates to make-up their postponed contests from last week’s blizzard.
The boys’ hockey team's gamewith the Devils Lake Firebirds will be played Tuesday night at Wilson Arena. The Blue Jays entered the contest with a 2-5-1 overall record and a 1-4-1 West Region record. The Firebirds are 4-1 in the East Region and 8-1 overall.
The Jamestown boys’ and girls’ basketball contests with Fargo Davies will be played Feb. 1 at Discovery Middle School in Fargo.
The girls’ varsity game will be played at 6 p.m. on Gym 1 and the boys will follow at 7:45 on the same court.
The boys’ JV team will tip-off at 6 p.m. on Gym 2 with the girls’ JV game to follow at 7:45 p.m.
The Blue Jay boys’ varsity team is 3-2 overall and are coming off back-to-back wins over Turtle Mountain and Devils Lake. The girls are 1-4 overall and will be looking to put an end to a four-game losing skid.
