Class B boys' basketball: Sargent Central defeats Oakes

Sargent Central scored 41 points in the second half to overcome a three-point halftime deficit and defeat Oakes 62-55 Friday night in Oakes.

Cam Enderson had a game-high 19 points and was one of three Sargent Central scorers to eclipse double digits. Teammate Justin Arp finished with 16 and Jared Huckell had 12.

Oakes, which had eight different players score throughout the night, was paced by Cody Ptacek’s 11 points.

Andrew Schaefer and Stephen Guler combined for 42 points as New Rockford-Sheyenne toppled Barnes County North, 76-45, in Class B boys’ basketball action Thursday night.

Schaefer poured in a game-high 23 points for the Rockets, while Guler tossed in 19 as they scored at least 18 points in each quarter.

Jacoby Kramlich paced the Bison with 17 points.
