More than 1,700 poker players participated in the annual championship, said Wendy Rupert, co-founder of the event and general manager of the Vegas Motel in Minot. The top 125 participants share the payout of almost $133,000.
Area players who finished in the top 125 include:

40. Gary Ronholm, Jamestown
53. Curtis Diede, Jamestown
67: Jill Schlect, Streeter
