The longtime North Dakota Democrat is not a lawyer. He says he’ll be a senior policy adviser for Arent Fox LLP. He’s being joined in that role by former Republican U.S. Sen. Robert Bennett of Utah.
Dorgan left the Senate last week after spending 30 years in Congress, 18 of them in the Senate. He said earlier this week that he also plans to write novels.
