Man sentenced for child porn
FARGO (AP) — A truck driver from Kansas who was caught at the U.S.-Canada border in North Dakota with child pornography has been sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison.
FARGO (AP) — A truck driver from Kansas who was caught at the U.S.-Canada border in North Dakota with child pornography has been sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison.
U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon said 27-year-old Kenneth Mahoney Jr. of Topeka, Kan., pleaded guilty last October to possession and transportation of child porn.
Purdon said that when Mahoney was stopped at the border, authorities confiscated a laptop computer, CDs and DVDs that contained nearly 6,500 images and 250 videos of child porn.
