Two people sentenced on felony charges

Two people were sentenced on felony charges in Southwest District Court in Jamestown.

Sean Andrew Lange, 23, 910 11th Ave. N.E. #8, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class B felony. Lange was accused of possessing marijuana with intent to deliver on Sept. 2, 2010.

Judge Thomas Merrick sentenced Lange to 60 days in the Stutsman County Corrections Center. Lange is to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and complete recommended treatment. He was ordered to serve two years supervised probation.

Lange was ordered to pay $650 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility admin fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.

A Class B felony is punishable by a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Alan Daniel Murdock, 33, Streeter, N.D., pleaded guilty to terrorizing, a Class C felony. Murdock was accused of holding a knife to a woman’s throat on Nov. 27, 2010.

Judge John Paulson sentenced Murdock to four days in the Stutsman County Corrections Center with four days credit for time served with two years deferred imposition. Murdock is to obtain a chemical dependency evaluation and complete recommended treatment. He was ordered to serve two years supervised probation.

Murdock was ordered to pay $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility admin fee, $25 indigent defense application fee, $300 indigent recoupment and $25 victim-witness fee.

A Class C felony is punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
