MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A man sentenced to 10 years in prison in the death of one of his children in Montana 16 years ago has been convicted in North Dakota on federal child pornography charges.

U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says 42-year-old Ray Huether of Minot faces at least 15 years in prison when he's sentenced April 18 in Bismarck.

The Minot Daily News reports that Huether previously was convicted of negligent homicide in Billings, Mont., in the March 1995 suffocation death of his infant daughter. He also was convicted of gross sexual imposition last year in North Dakota state court for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old child, and sentenced to serve 30 years in prison. The child porn charges resulted from that investigation.
