New Fargo-area chamber might find new name
Officials with the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce are considering coming up with a better name.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Officials with the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce are considering coming up with a better name.
President and CEO Craig Whitney tells The Forum newspaper that the current name that resulted from last year's merger of the Fargo-Moorhead and West Fargo chambers is “long and cumbersome.”
The new organization has nearly 2,000 members. Its board on Thursday might vote on a strategic plan that would put a focus on weighing in on public policy matters.
