DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — A Dickinson-area company that makes solar-powered water aeration devices wants to expand.
SolarBee wants the Stark County Commission to rezone 27 acres of land from agricultural to industrial use, so it can put up storage buildings to keep its inventory from getting covered by snow. SolarBee President Joel Bleth says the company might also add buildings for truck maintenance.
Bleth says his company grew quickly in 2008, was stable the past two years and is poised for growth again this year.
The Dickinson Press reports that the county's zoning board has scheduled a public hearing for Monday and eventually will make a recommendation to the commission.
