“The Purple Orchid List,” a romantic comedy by local author Jennifer Waters, has three dinner theater performances starting at 6 p.m. with show time at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10-12, at the Arts Center. A Valentine’s Day dessert and wine theater is at 6:30 p.m. followed by the performance at 7 p.m. Feb. 14. Tickets for the dinner theater are $20 for Arts Center members and students and $25 for others. Tickets for the dessert theater are $10 for Arts Center members and students and $15 for others. Peggy Hammerling, Valley City State University flute instructor, performs in recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, in Froemke Auditorium on the VCSU campus in Valley City. Admission is $5.

A special tour of the Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site near Cooperstown, N.D., is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at Oscar-Zero Missile Alert Facility. Cost: $35 including lunch at the Griggs County Museum in Cooperstown. Registration for a tour is limited to 10 people and must be made by Feb. 24.
