“Jesus, The New Way,” will be the next focus of the Medina area community Bible study held at 9 a.m. Mondays at the Zion United Church of Christ.

The series looks at the life of Christ in relationship to the Hebrew traditions and expectations of the ancient world through the eyes of N.T. Wright, a New Testament scholar and author, who recently retired from his position as an Anglican Bishop in England. The Bible study series will continue over a six- to 10-week period, depending on the discussions that follow.

The study series will provide an opportunity for participants to take a deeper look into the historical context of the life and times of Jesus, according to Pastor Karl Limvere, who be leading the study. The study will include video presentations by Wright.

People interested in participating are invited to bring their favorite study Bible and to join in on the weekly Monday morning discussions at the Fellowship Hall of the Zion United Church of Christ of Medina. The Bible study fellowship is an interdenominational undertaking open to everyone.
