Hoeven to stop in Minot Friday

Sen. John Hoeven will meet with commanders at the Minot Air Force Base tomorrow, to discuss the current status and future of the base and tour progress at a number of base facilities.

Sen. John Hoeven will meet with commanders at the Minot Air Force Base tomorrow, to discuss the current status and future of the base and tour progress at a number of base facilities. The visit is Sen. Hoeven’s first since being officially sworn into office in early January.

Following his meetings at the base, Hoeven will meet with Task Force 21 members at the Minot Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will include a discussion about the impact of the START Treaty on the Minot Air Force Base.

Hoeven will stop by the Burdick Job Corps Center at 3:30 p.m. to meet with students and directors about the center’s mission and programs to educate and train young people at risk.
