Geffre speaking on love at basilica
“Jesus, the Source of Love,” will be the topic for the Feb. 14 presentation at St. James Basilica, 622 First Ave. S., Jamestown. Beginning at 7 p.m. in the basilica, Deacon Tom Geffre will help participants understand why and how to respond to God in the Blessed Sacrament. Individuals, teens and families are invited to celebrate Valentine’s Day learning about this aspect of the Catholic faith.

Geffre, chaplain of Ave Maria Village, is retired from Mayville State University where he taught psychology and was student teacher coordinator.
He and his wife, Mary, have eight children and 17 grandchildren. They now live in Jamestown.
The Geffres are firm believers in the benefits of prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament. He invites everyone who is able to attend this presentation which will include the Liturgy of the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
Those who have heard Tom Geffre speak say he connects with individuals and answers their questions.
Our Lady of Lourdes Circle will serve refreshments in the Parish Center at 7:45 p.m. There is no charge and no freewill offering for the program.
