Dunn County closes 25 miles of road
Commissioners in Dunn County have closed about 25 miles of road while declaring a countywide snow emergency.
BISMARCK (AP) — Commissioners in Dunn County have closed about 25 miles of road while declaring a countywide snow emergency.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that the roads will remain closed until it quits snowing or spring begins, whichever comes first.
Commission chairman Daryl Dukart said the move is to save on overtime and wear and tear on workers and equipment.
Dukart said the short road sections are mostly shortcuts that save mail route miles.
