N.D. woman sentenced for child abuse

A North Dakota woman who pleaded guilty to felony child abuse was sentenced to seven years in prison.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota woman who pleaded guilty to felony child abuse was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Harriet Rose Feather of Tokio pleaded guilty in December to hitting a 4-year-old with a plastic hanger until the hanger broke

Federal prosecutors say the 31-year-old woman was on supervised release at the time for a 2005 child abuse conviction for shaking an infant.
