Letter to the editor: Special Olympic athletes appreciate college support

I would like to thank Jamestown College for allowing Area 9 Special Olympic athletes to perform during halftimes of the men’s and women’s basketball games on Feb. 4. This is an event our special Olympic athletes look forward to every year.

I want to give a special thank you to the “DREAMTEAM” made up of Jamestown College students. They were very worthy opponents. The highlight of the evening for me was the support our athletes received from the Jamestown College student body. They were on their feet cheering our athletes on. I cannot find words to express how much it meant to our team.
