Mandan incident prompts day care evacuation
A Minot man is in custody after allegedly calling 911 and threatening to shoot police in Mandan.
MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — A Minot man is in custody after allegedly calling 911 and threatening to shoot police in Mandan.
The Tuesday afternoon incident led to the closure of several streets in north Mandan and the evacuation of a day care because police initially thought the 37-year-old man was holed up in a home.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that the man later was arrested in Bismarck on a terrorizing charge.
