N.D. has second flu-related death

State health officials are reporting a second death in North Dakota linked to the flu.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — State health officials are reporting a second death in North Dakota linked to the flu.

The Health Department data shows that the person was older than 60. The agency does not identify flu victims. Epidemiologist Lindsey VanderBusch told The Bismarck Tribune that the man lived in the southeastern part of the state.

The first flu death in North Dakota came in mid-January, when a child younger than 10 died in north central North Dakota.

The Health Department said both victims tested positive for influenza A.
