“BeiJing Fling! The Arts Center 2011 Gala,” is at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Center located at 115 Second St. S.W. There will be a social hour, silent auction, dinner, live auction and live music and dancing to the 42nd Street Jazz Band. Valet parking will be available. Tickets are $75.
Legendary former Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon and Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown Comedy All-Stars Charity Basketball Game, is at noon Saturday at the Jamestown Civic Center.
