Jamestown High School Choir pops concert and taco feed are Monday. The taco feed is from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Jamestown High School commons area. The pops concert starts at 7 p.m. in the Jamestown High School Theater. The cost is $7 for individuals and $20 for families.
Special Events
A special tour of the Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile State Historic Site near Cooperstown, N.D., is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Oscar-Zero Missile Alert Facility. Cost: $35 including lunch at the Griggs County Museum in Cooperstown. Registration for a tour is limited to 10 people and must be made by today. “BeiJing Fling! The Arts Center 2011 Gala,” is at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Center located at 115 Second St. S.W. There will be a social hour, silent auction, dinner, live auction and live music and dancing to the 42nd Street Jazz Band. Valet parking will be available. Tickets are $75.
Legendary former Harlem Globetrotter Meadowlark Lemon and Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown Comedy All-Stars Charity Basketball Game, is at noon Saturday at the Jamestown Civic Center. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Each ticket admits one adult or two children under 12. Advance tickets are available at Hugo’s, County Market, all Stop-N-Go locations and the Jamestown Civic Center.

Wood carving, with a local wood carving group, is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Arts Center’s Hansen Studio. There is no charge. Call Andy Kudrna at 320-5075 with questions.
“Play with your Food!” an introduction to world cuisine with Jim Lester, is from 6 to 8 p.m. March 3, 10, 17 and 24 at Kitchen Solvers. Cost is $15 for Arts Center members and $20 for others per session. Call the Arts Center at 251-2496 for more information or to register.
International dance lessons start at 7:30 p.m. today in the Nafus Center Level Two on the Jamestown College campus. Various dance styles will be taught by instructors from Argentina, Brazil, Germany and other countries. There is no admission charge.

National Buffalo Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sundays by appointment. Admission: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and AAA members, $10 for a family and $1 for children ages 6 to 18.
Alfred Dickey Library hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. To access the Story Line, call 252-7464.
Storytime is at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Alfred Dickey Library. The theme is “Imagination.”
