Fifty-two-year-old Karen Vatnsdal is to be sentenced May 2. If a judge agrees to her plea agreement with prosecutors, she will spend three years in prison and five years on probation.
Authorities say Vatnsdal's car pinned 37-year-old Michael Hart against his pickup truck last Oct. 17. Hart later had one leg amputated below the knee.
