The Fighting Sioux (25-8-3, 20-6-1) won the McNaughton Cup, given to the WCHA regular season champ, for the second time in three years. They close out the regular season Saturday against the Huskies (4-27-4, 2-23-2), then play host to the same team next weekend in the first round of the WCHA playoffs.

“The guys did a real good job coming out and doing the job,” North Dakota coach Dave Hakstol said.
