Verizon Wireless ranked highest among all other national wireless providers in West Region, which includes North Dakota, in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Wireless Call Quality Performance Study.
More than 27,250 wireless phone subscribers were surveyed by J.D. Power and Associates between July and December 2010 about their experiences with dropped calls, static/interference, failed connection on the first try, voice distortion, echoes, no immediate voicemail notification and no immediate text message notification. Based on their responses, Verizon Wireless ranked highest in five regions, including the West Region.
“People are increasingly relying on their smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices to stay connected,” said Seamus Hyland, president of the Great Plains Region for Verizon Wireless. “Wireless users need a network they can rely on, and our customers know they can count on Verizon Wireless. Our ongoing investments in North Dakota and throughout the United States have kept us ahead of wireless demand and enabled our customers to get the coverage they want and need on the nation’s most reliable wireless network.”
