Wild turkey licenses still available
North Dakota wildlife officials say more than 750 spring wild turkey licenses remain in 10 units after the license lottery.
BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota wildlife officials say more than 750 spring wild turkey licenses remain in 10 units after the license lottery.
The Game and Fish Department says hunters who do not yet have a license for the 2011 spring season can apply. Only North Dakota residents are eligible.
The season opens April 9 and runs through May 15. Wildlife officials made 6,720 licenses available.
