N.D. Class A girls basketball: Minot wins consolation game over Jamestown

Minot withstood a furious late-game rally from Jamestown to claim a 54-49 win in Friday's consolation round of the North Dakota Class A state high school girls basketball tournament being held at the Fargodome.

Minot, 15-9, advances to Saturday's 9:30 a.m. fifth-place game.

Jamestown's season ends with an 11-13 record.
