MINOT (AP) — Minot police have identified a man they say was stabbed to death at a local motel.
The Saturday death of 48-year-old Donald Flowers of Wichita Falls, Texas, is being treated as a homicide.
Thirty-two-year-old Charles Davis of Trinity, Texas, is charged with murder and theft of a motor vehicle. He was arrested Saturday near Bismarck after allegedly fleeing Minot in a stolen vehicle.
Police Capt. Jason Olson told KCJB radio that Davis and Flowers worked for an oil field company and knew one another. Authorities have not speculated on a possible motive.
