Missing N.D. man found dead in S.D.

A missing resident of the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon has been found dead across the South Dakota border.

LISBON, N.D. (AP) — A missing resident of the North Dakota Veterans Home in Lisbon has been found dead across the South Dakota border.

Lisbon Police Chief Jeanette Persons says a Brown County farmer found 78-year-old Leon Weight dead in his car in a secluded area near Aberdeen on Monday. She says no foul play is suspected.

Weight had not been seen since Feb. 17. Numerous ground and air searches were conducted.
