JC Choir concert scheduled Sunday
The Jamestown College Choir, one of the oldest touring choirs in the Midwest, will present a concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday at St. James Basilica. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Jamestown College Choir, one of the oldest touring choirs in the Midwest, will present a concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday at St. James Basilica. The concert is free and open to the public.
Songs to be performed include Mendelssohn’s “Richt, Mich Gott,” Palestrina’s “Sicut Cervus,” Randall Thompson’s “The Peaceable Kingdom” and David Fanshaw’s “African Sanctus.”
This concert performance by the 60-member choir follows the group’s Spring Tour to California, Montana and North Dakota. A freewill offering will be collected at the concert.
