Oakes’ Bopp signs with Jimmie track and field
Oakes multi-sport athlete Josie Bopp has signed with the Jamestown College track and field team.
Oakes multi-sport athlete Josie Bopp has signed with the Jamestown College track and field team.
Bopp, who placed seventh in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump at the state meet last spring, is also considering playing volleyball at JC.
“Josie is a pleasant, easygoing person who seems to really enjoy track and field,” JC women’s coach Jim Clark said. “Her coaches cite her as a hard-worker, a good leader and easy to coach. She will be a valuable addition to the Jimmie team.”
She is the daughter of Jim and Beth Bopp and plans to major in elementary education at JC.
