Potato stocks up in North Dakota
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Potato stocks in North Dakota are up 16 percent from a year ago.

The Agriculture Department says growers, dealers and processors in the state held 8.1 million hundredweight of potatoes in storage on March 1.
Current stocks represent 37 percent of production, the same as in 2010.
Nationally, potato stocks on March 1 stood at 143 million hundredweight, down 15 percent over the year.
