The Jamestown Police Department has released the statistics for the Runnin O’ the Green.
Police Chief Dave Donegan said there were 42 people cited for unlawful possession of alcohol, 19 for urinating in public, four arrested on outstanding warrants, one DUI, two assaults, one vandalism and one theft.
“I thought everyone was well-schooled on the alcohol but maybe not,” he said.
During the peak of the Run from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. there were a total of 10 officers on patrol.
Aside from the two injuries from the assaults, there were no other injuries reported, he said.
“I think everything went fine,” Donegan said. “I am surprised of the large number of arrests.”
