COOPERSTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities trying to find the body of a slain North Dakota State University researcher plan another aerial search this week.
KOVC radio reports that the search for Kurt Johnson's body will be centered in the Cooperstown area. Griggs County Sheriff Bob Hook says another search might go into Minnesota.
Johnson went missing after leaving a Cooperstown bar last New Year's Eve. Authorities say his severed head was found in the Cooperstown home of Daniel Wacht, but the rest of his body was not found.
Wacht is being held without bail in Jamestown on a murder charge.
