Stolen car found in Jamestown

A car reported stolen from Woodworth, N.D., was found in Jamestown Monday, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

A car reported stolen from Woodworth, N.D., was found in Jamestown Monday, according to the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.

A dark blue 2003 Toyota Corolla was parked outside Stub’s Pub in Woodworth Saturday. Its owner was at the pub and told officials she left her keys and cell phone on a ledge in the bar. At 10 p.m., she noticed the vehicle was missing.

The vehicle is valued at $12,000, Kaiser said. Clothes, a wallet, the owner’s iPod and keys belonging to a friend were inside.

Detective Jason Falk said he does have a suspect. No damages were reported and nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Falk said he found the vehicle in the Park Plaza Mall.

The theft remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office at 252-9000.
