BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota’s spring turkey season opens Saturday and runs through May 15.
The state Game and Fish Department said hunters who don’t yet have a license can still apply to hunt in Bowman, Mountrail, Slope and Stark counties. Only North Dakota residents are eligible.
Game and Fish is reminding hunters that they need a 2011-12 hunting license, as last year’s licenses expired at the end of March.
