N.D. gets $50M for road repairs

The state's congressional delegation said North Dakota will get more than $50 million from the federal government to fix roads damaged by flooding.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The state's congressional delegation said North Dakota will get more than $50 million from the federal government to fix roads damaged by flooding.

The Devils Lake Basin will get $33.5 million. Other amounts are $7.7 million for the Red River Valley, $6.7 million for the West James River Basin, and $2.5 million for the Sheyenne/James River Basin.

The delegation said the money comes from a U.S. Department of Transportation program to repair roads damaged by natural disasters.
