N.D. brothers indicted on drug, weapons charges
Three brothers from the Bismarck-Mandan area have been indicted on drug and weapons charges.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Three brothers from the Bismarck-Mandan area have been indicted on drug and weapons charges.
Andrew Scott, Samuel Scott and Steven Scott have pleaded not guilty in federal court. Samuel and Steven Scott are charged with possession of a firearm in relationship to a drug trafficking crime and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Andrew Scott is charged with possession of a firearm by a drug user.
Samuel Scott faces an additional charge of distribution of marijuana.
Court documents showed that Samuel and Steve Scott were in possession of about a dozen weapons, including two AK-47 assault rifles.
Trial is scheduled for May 24 in Bismarck.
