FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A woman who counted cash for the Fargo Youth Commission's charitable gambling operations is accused of embezzling as much as $59,000 over a two-year period.
The Forum newspaper reports that 28-year-old Abbey McNamee faces a felony theft of property charge that carries a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison upon conviction. A telephone listing for her could not be found.
The Youth Commission runs programs for elementary students, including before- and after-school programs.
