BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Officials said the Federal Emergency Management Agency has added Ransom County in southeast North Dakota to a federal emergency declaration.
A presidential declaration signed on April 7 makes federal help available to supplement state and local efforts to battle spring flooding.
The declaration also covers Cass, Barnes, Richland, Traill, Grand Forks, Pembina, Walsh and Ward counties.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple said he will continue to press FEMA to add other counties.
