Wal-Mart gets OK to sell liquor in Grand Forks
Wal-Mart has received approval to get into the booze business in Grand Forks.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Wal-Mart has received approval to get into the booze business in Grand Forks.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that the City Council this week approved a liquor license for the retailer. Wal-Mart applied for an off-sale license for a store within its store.
Wal-Mart is open 24 hours, but the liquor business will have to follow city law that limits hours of those stores.
